About

The Weekly Bullrun is a financial markets newsletter focused on the parts of the economy that mainstream coverage misses. Every issue covers one specific mechanism — a credit dislocation, a supply shock, a regulatory shift, a collateral problem — and traces how it moves through equity markets. No Fed commentary, no S&P 500 recaps. The goal is to write about what is actually happening before it becomes obvious.

I started this newsletter because most financial writing either talks down to readers or buries the real story in jargon. I wanted to write something that respects the reader's intelligence and gets to the mechanism fast. Six issues in, that is still the standard I hold every piece to.

I'm Alessio Cipriano, a finance student with a focus on capital markets and credit. My interest is in the parts of the market that are underpriced by attention — small regional banks, commodity cycles, insurance dislocations, structured credit — areas where the data is public but the analysis is thin. That is what this newsletter covers.

New issues publish weekly. If you want to follow along or reach out, find me on LinkedIn.
